About Fiona

I grew up in Hampshire, Dorset, and Malaysia before combining motherhood with a successful career in the NHS.

My creative writing journey began in 2019, sparked when someone gifted me an entry into a short story competition and I haven't stopped since.

I've now written six books – from short story collections to a mystery/drama and a children's tale about a dragon – with two more releases due out this autumn.

I'm part of the Portsmouth Authors Collective, an eclectic mix of local authors offering training and support alongside promotional and sales events.

My life experiences have contributed significantly to the depth and substance of my writing. In between stories, I enjoy travelling, swimming, cookery, dog walking, and singing in a local community choir.
